Based in Kaneohe, Hawaii, KAAAWA K9 Rescue is an accredited 501(c)(3) non-for-profit organization. KAAAWA K9 Rescue is an all-condition, all-breed, all-size, and all-age dog rescue & adoption center. Because of our roots in the local Hawaiian community, we have been blessed with the opportunity to build our shelter with the help of donations and materials, labor from several local companies, and lease from our Native Hawaiian Landowners who believed in us and our cause. This is our invitation to join us in a great mission of ensuring the operation of the only NO-KILL shelter on the Winward side of the island. Our mission is to Rescue, Rehabilitate, and Rehome the Abandoned, Abused, Neglected, and Aggressive dogs of the Hawaiian Islands.
